Hillcraft has been around since 1996. We are truly multi-talented. The business revolves around the manufacture of various products. Most of the products are in-house, but of course having the technologies and equipment we are able to serve you.
We have a state of the art 900 x 1300 mm 70Watt laser cutter which allows us to manufacture various products. The company also runs a desktop CNC router and lathe. All our CAD drawing is done in-house using Rhino Ver 4 and CorelDraw.
Rhino is used to do 3D CAD and engineering drawings whereas CorelDraw is used for artistic drawing.
Silicone mould making and resin casting is our forte. Our band Scalecraft, represents the best South African Railways scale models in the world. The models are resin cast, laser cut, brass etched and airbrushed in-house. We even cut our own polystyrene box inserts and cardboard boxes.
Oh, and another hing, we are into arts and carfts and toys as well. We manufacture large dollhouse, castles and forts. The models are lasercut from 3mm MDF (fibreboard / hardboard) and then supplied in kit form or assembled and painted.
